Hello

My name is Suzy Dzimbiri and I started the Compassionate Malawi movement.

I live in Zomba in southern Malawi. In my job as a nurse we are taught to care for people no matter what their background. We are taught that everyone has a right to dignity and kindness. And yet, I realised that this principle wasn't being applied in society. Out in our communities, many of our older friends are being cast aside and mistreated. We can do better. We need to remember our common humanity. Remember that we are all deserving of love and kindness. And when we do that, we'll start to create communities of compassion.
